A Speech Pathologist may become involved in your care if you have impaired communication and/or difficulties with eating. This may include patients with a variety of conditions such as Stroke, Motor Neurone Disease, Multiple Sclerosis or other neurological conditions.
Areas assessed by a Speech Pathologist include:

• Expressive speech and language skills
• Voice management
• Swallowing and eating management
• Oral musculature
• Hearing
• Augmentative communication
