Eden’s Day Therapy Program comprises two half-day visits for six weeks. It has enormous benefits for patients who are:
• Pre and post orthopaedic surgery

• At risk of / have a history of falls
• Recovering from stroke with compromised mobility

Programs are personalised to meet the patient’s individual needs and may comprise any combination of:
• Physiotherapy
• Occupational Therapy
• Exercise Physiology
• Hydrotherapy
• Speech Pathology
• Dietitian
• Psychology

The benefits of a pre-operative rehabilitation work-up for patients preparing for joint replacement surgery, for example, are well documented and include:
• Improved fitness prior to surgery
• Faster recovery from surgery
• Reduced length of stay
• Less complications post surgery

A doctor’s referral is required for the Day Therapy Program.
